  1. Internetting with your Atari
  2. ============================

  4. This package basically consists of the following parts.
  5.  
  6. * STiK, originally by Steve Adam (Australia) and now by Dan Ackerman 
  7.   (USA). This does the low-level networking stuff to the Internet.
  8. * CAB, by Alexander Clauss (Germany). The HTML/WWW browser.
  9. * CAB.OVL, originally by Tim Newsome (USA) and now by Dan Ackerman 
  10.   (USA). This is the missing link between STiK and CAB.
  11. * Antmail, by Dan Ackerman (USA). A POP3 based E-mail program.
  12. * Telnet, by Jim Baumgardner and Dan Ackerman (both USA). This is a 
  13.   remote login terminal program.
  14. * Setup, by Guy Harrison (UK). Sets up STiK for you with no hassles 
  15.   guaranteed.

  17. (I know the countries aren't important, but I just like the idea of global
  18. development. :-))

  21. Legal Stuff
  22. -----------
  23. You use these programs at your own risk. In the tests quite a few bugs have
  24. been discovered, but none of these trashed hard drives etc. You can feel
  25. reasonably safe using these programs, but if something does go wrong, it's
  26. your fault.

  29. Registering
  30. -----------
  31. You are encouraged to register for all the programs in this package. 
  32. However, please note that the one point registration that existed with 
  33. previous versions no longer exists.

  35. You will now have to register for each component in the pack with the 
  36. appropriate author/registration point.

  38. Also note that STiK has risen in price and you are further encouraged 
  39. to pay the upgrade fee if you have previously registered.

  42. each program folder in this package. CyberSTrider and InterActive have 
  43. also included in the package e-mailable and printable order forms for 
  44. software they support.
